    "What's your quirk?" Bakugou asks. He's making conversation. The thumping in Kirishima's chest accelerates as he suddenly realizes that this is his chance to actually talk to him. Maybe pique his interest, make him want to talk even more. First impressions are everything. 

    "I get hard," he blurts, clenching his eyes shut as he hears himself. 

    "What?" 

    "Hardening! It's hardening, my whole body is . . . rock," he's crashing and burning. Crap.
