    James Barnes thought Steve Rogers was his everything and that they were meant to be together forever. It seemed that fate favored him, having made his first love his true mate. They’d bonded and married young. Then the war happened.

    Steve became Captain America and Bucky became The Winter Soldier.

    Bucky never thought they would be thrown into a different time, or that Steve would step out on their bond and marriage. Steve Rogers isn’t the man he knew.
