Leon finally stands up straight and turns to face Chris hesitantly, his lower lip caught between his teeth as he chews nervously.
“Good silence or bad?” He enquires unsurely, and god if the innocence of it all doesn’t set Chris’ blood alight.
“It’s ‘I’m-trying-not-to-eat-you-alive’ silence,” Chris explains through gritted teeth. His jaw aches.
