"Sirius trudged up the stairs feeling like he was back at Hogwarts being hauled off to the headmaster's office. He wasn’t usually singled out for Order business. He was both too exhausted for a meeting with Dumbledore and to deal with the repercussions of ignoring the summons. Dumbledore had this uncanny ability to peer into one’s soul; to fracture the confidence of even the most arrogant. He had wondered if Dumbledore truly saw him as a good person or as someone whose desire to be good could be used to further his cause."
This is a canon compliant short story taking place in March 1980, and follows Sirius as he imparts on another mission for the Order of the Phoenix.
