Summary
Wearied medic Sakura is just trying to survive the civil war. Her task seems impossible to accomplish when her home village is razed by the enemy and she is taken as their captive to serve as a dutiful healer. At least she still has her head.
All she has to do now is keep it down and stay inconspicuous. But the dark, horrible eye of the violent commander is threatening her tenuous hold on life — and sanity.

“Careful, Sakura.” His one dark eye scowled at her from over his shoulder, shrouded and unreadable. “Push any more buttons and you’ll get your wish.”
