‘It would almost be impressive,’ Granny continues, ‘if it didn’t make you look like such an ass.’
For the second time in a matter of moments, he finds himself asking the same question. ‘Excuse me?’
Now Granny fully rounds on him. Hands come down on the counter in front of him and she’s giving him a look that he is well aware frightens many.
‘I said, you’re an ass.’
‘I thought you said I looked like an ass.’

Summary
The Nevengers- Emma, thinks she’s had just about enough of this godforsaken island, and that is only further escalated when their path to Tink’s has overgrown. When they set out on their new trail, the thought of plummeting down a cliff into sparkly water was definitely not on her mind.
