    “Sorry, what was that? I can’t hear you when you mumble, dear.” She questioned while shifting her focus between her girlfriend and the tea she was preparing. The gremlin groaned, face gaining a tint of pink as she realized she’d have to repeat herself…and becoming an even deeper shade when she processed the pet name her girlfriend had casually used.

    “But…I don’t think I’ll be able to relax in my room tonight.” She said, tail drooping behind her at her admission. The automaton frowned, having not thought about how Gigi would even associate her own room with the nightmares. Cecilia tried to think of a solution, but her girlfriend began speaking again,

    “So…could I..maybe.. stay in your room?” Gigi asked, spitting her words out in an embarrassed jumble, but was still miraculously understood by Cecilia. Despite her embarrassment, the gremlin still immediately had half a mind to slap the sudden growing smirk off of the taller woman’s face.
