He wouldn’t even hear a cry or the sound of it hitting the rocks below.
His stomach twists, and he blinks liquid that isn’t rain from his eyes.
“Forgive me, O Chronodes,” he says, bowing, mind racing, “but if neither myself nor my good son can defend our home adequately by the time this boy is old enough to challenge us, then may Ithaca burn, and us with it.”

After he was sent to another universe, Villain Izuku refused to go back. He didn't want to go back to a world without Kacchan. So what did he do? He killed himself.
What he didn't expect was to be sent to another universe which has Kacchan who was alive but brokenhearted.

He turns around on the bed, ready to say something, when he hears his laughter; Genya likes Tanjirou's laughter, it makes him believe that everything is going to be fine.
But then, he hears another boy's voice, one that's not Tanjirou's and when he finally looks in that direction he sees that his friend is not alone; there's a kakushi sitting on a chair right next to Tanjirou's bed. He's the one talking to him and making Tanjirou laugh.

“Because it’ll kill me,” he said, his eyes narrowing onto her. “If you ask Deku out, and he says yes, I think it will kill me.”
Ochako’s eyes went wide. Part of her wanted to run from this rooftop and confess to Deku right now but-Bakugou would die? She didn’t want him to die! She couldn’t let him die. “...Do you know for sure you would?”
He shrugged “No,” he said “But let’s pretend I went and asked the nerd out. Let’s pretend he said yes. How would you feel?”
Her throat got tight at the thought. The image of Deku curled up under Bakugou’s arm. Deku leaning up to whisper to Bakugou about an inside joke she’d never be a part of. Them embracing each other. Kissing each other-
She coughed into her hand. She spat out several lilacs at once. She stared down at them. “...I’d die,” she said now understanding.
They were at a standstill. Neither could be with Deku, but neither could be without Deku.
