Izuku files the divorce in a rage he's sure he's earned. Three weeks earlier, neither of them knew it would be the last time.
He finds out at a routine check-in. He decides not to tell Katsuki - because Katsuki would stay out of duty, and Izuku can't survive loving a man who's only there because he has to be. So he switches agencies, swallows the lie, and carries it alone.

He was so deep in thought as they moved along that he didn't realize someone had grabbed his arm until he was yanked back with a gasp and stumbled. He grunted when he slammed into a table, catching his footing as he locked onto a pair of deep, amethyst colored eyes.
"Ah — um… sorry, but can I uh, help you?" he asked, feeling extremely insecure with the way she gazed at him.
Danger sense never activated, and it still remained… dormant, which kind of concerned him. He had no idea she was even there, but he was pretty lost in his thoughts, so at the same time, he screwed up yet again by getting himself distracted and not being aware. He really needed to stop doing that because one day, it was going to come back and bite him in the ass — hard.

A quirk accident that binds Izuku and Katsuki like the red string of fate, with a bond that forever ties them together. That so-called bond is a baby. A baby neither of them asked for.
