“You're stuck with me now, so, better get used to it,” Peter had said, and Erik had begun to believe that after ten years of isolation, he had finally lost his mind.
When it comes to Peter, everything is fast. In less than five minutes, Erik had been properly informed that he had a son, that said son thought he was “absolutely off the shits, but, whatever”, had been provided with evidence that he was the father, and then informed that his son would be sticking around.
Erik keeps staring at him like he's not real.
“Uh-oh,” Peter says, having noticed Erik's silence for the past twenty seconds. “I feel like I broke you.”
Or, how Erik bonds with his son, gets back together with Charles, and continues to fight for mutants. Not in that order.
