She stopped in front of him. And then she slammed a datapad onto the crate next to him like it was evidence in a war tribunal.
Cassian didn’t flinch. He just inhaled slowly and exhaled through his nose.
“So,” he said evenly. “You found out.”
“Did you know?”
Cassian kept his expression carefully neutral. “For a while.”
“How long?”
“A few weeks.”
Jyn let out a short, incredulous laugh. ”Weeks. You've known about this for weeks and you didn’t say anything?”
“What exactly was I supposed to say, Jyn? ‘By the way, the entire base thinks we’re in some kind of epic tragic romance and people have been writing stories about it?’”

He sounded hesitant and Jyn burrowed her eyebrows in confusion. He was so sure in his memorized speech just a moment ago. Cassian stared thoughtfully at the golden prize in his hand.
“I… would like to dedicate this to the person who has been with me on this journey since this movie was merely an idea. The first person to read every single thing I write. And well… The first person who complained the most about a certain character’s death like you all did.”
It got another laugh from the audience.
Cassian continued, “She was my cornerstone through it all. Her hand marks were all over this movie, and it was better because of it. I was better because of it.”
What was he doing?
Cassian smiled and looked at the camera, “My beloved shade of green. Thank you.”
They broke up a year ago.
