Summary
Ubel's never thought of herself as a loner. People are interesting, useful, all-around good to keep around - but she's not exactly in the habit of keeping in touch. People are messy, too. Inconvenient. They have a way of stirring things up.
So maybe she shouldn't be surprised when a reunion with an old colleague drags long-buried emotions back to the surface.

Summary
