Yamada Hizashi was bright.
Shouta remembered meeting the blonde during the sports festival. Back then, he had just been a general studies student who was hoping to prove his chance to be a hero in the tournament. Shouta remembered how his heart was pounding as he pushed himself to his limits just to prove himself. It had been a race during the first part, and Shouta had managed to bring himself to fifth place by the time the third lap was around. Yamada had been a few places behind him, but he could have easily passed him if he wanted to, because eventually Shouta had to force himself to blink after trying to restrain the quirk of a kid in front of him. When he did, their quirk came back at full strength and the next thing he knew, he was falling after slipping on a heap of slippery purple goo.
And that’s when Yamada came into his life like the warmth of the sun.

Yamada Hizashi is in love with Shouta but every time he tries to confess, he accidentally hurts Shouta in some way or another and repeatedly sends him into Recovery Girl's office.
