They say every villain is the hero of their own story.
Regulus Black believes this to be false. He is an anomaly to this rule, he is an outlier, because not only is he a villain to everyone around him, he’s also a villain to himself. When Regulus finds a bright, burning reminder of his past in his estranged brother, Sirius Black, he decides to chase this star from within the shadows. There's only one way to do this, however. He shamelessly uses his replacement, James Potter.
But what starts as a means to an end, turns into an entanglement of romance between the most unlikely of matches; the boy who seeks refuge in shadow, and the boy who glitters in the sunlight.
