Summary
Estella and Theo Larke were raised with the sole purpose of entering the Riders Quadrant and becoming another weapon for the leaders of Navarre to use as they pleased.
Trained by none other than the general herself after the loss of their parents, the twins were prepared to do anything to make sure they made it out alive. Neither of them wanted to be just another mindless soldier forced into war with nothing more than a pat on the back, but it wasn't their choice. Not when their parents had planned their entire lives out before they were even born.
Estella made it her mission to use every ounce of training beaten into her to protect her brother. She made plans. She learned everything there was to know about the quadrant and spent most of her free time in the Healer Quadrant with Winifred and Nolon, soaking up every bit of knowledge she could get.
Everything she had planned went flying out the window when her best friend was ordered to walk the parapet alongside her. Now she has to figure out how to protect two of the people who mean the world to her.
