Luke sits on the steps outside his home, listening to his uncle and Ben argue, their voices never getting any quieter.
He’d had so much fun at Biggs’ house but the second he’d neared his own home and heard the raised voices, he couldn’t bring himself to enter, settling on the stairs that led into the house instead.
