Summary
Around Christmas time, Chris' dad always carries around this bell, one he rings obsessively. After a rough year including Chris leaving to go to Texas, and then coming back from Texas, just in time for Christmas, Chris looks forward to hearing the beautiful bell's ringing. Except he doesn't. The ringing haunts his home, and Chris wonders what exactly broke the bell. Surely it has nothing to do with his lost belief in Santa Claus, right?
Alternatively, Chris learns to Believe again.
