Summary
What if a certain someone wasn't so quick to make amends with those he wronged and those that wronged him. As our boi Kieran struggled to let go of the past, riddled with failures and a broken dream, he gets quite the opportunity, one he had desperately wished to get after being 'screwed over' as he would say, out of befriending the ogre he so long wished for, leading to his string of misfortunes.
OR: Kieran goes on a quest to overcompensate his failures and he learns valuable life lessons along the way. And everyone else he knows ends up regretting ever taking him for granted.

Summary
It's been roughly six months since Kieran departed for his independent study abroad after having successfully defended his league club championship for the final time just before relinquishing the title afterwards due to being fed up with everything at Blueberry Academy.
Now his independent study took him to the Galar Region, more specifically in the area of Galar known as the Crown Tundra. Hearing of a local folktale which resonates with the false folktales he grew up with back in Kitakami, he decides to look into it. Unfortunately for him so does a certain someone else who grew up under the same folktales has also decided to look into it as well.
Now it seems old wounds are about to peel open and a showdown is about to occur. Epic or Sad, what will transpire?

Everything. It was all his fault.Now he's in Paldea with his sister and Juliana recovering in Hospital, Miss Briar reporting to the Paldean Pokémon League, as him and Drayton try to cope with the recent events, all whilst Kieran's health—physical and mental—takes a huge turn for the worst.
Only for once, Drayton isn't making it worse, as he tries to fix a shaky relationship with his fellow classmate.

The letter leaves Florian speechless. There’s admittedly still something that feels… off about it, but Kieran wants to see him, to the point that he orchestrated the whole thing to get Clavell to agree to even let Florian step foot in Unova again.
Florian looks up at his mom with wide, stunned eyes, and all she can do is stare back at him in concern.

After his championship match ends in a draw, Florian almost dies in the underdepths, and their departure is cut short, Florian is invited back to Blueberry Academy by Kieran to participate in yet another tournament.
