Caitlyn panicked, feeling extraordinarily unprepared having been thrust into her new position without so much as even a handbook to consult. What were the formalities? What was she supposed to respond with? Where was the damn push to talk button…
“Hellooo? I said Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn fiddled with her headset, having finally found the green button on the side and hastily letting out a rather breathless reply. “Um, yes. Hello? This is Houston. I copy.”
There was a long pause in which Caitlyn sat twiddling her thumbs, anxiety pushing the frantic pulse of her heartbeat through her eardrums. Was that wrong? Did she already fuck up? She took a steady deep breath, finger hovering over the talk button until the familiar voice of the astronaut came through her headset once more.
“Damn, Houston. I didn’t expect you to sound so sexy.”
OR
Caitlyn has been assigned as the personal capcom to one of the astronauts currently on a year long expedition at the international space station. Cue long months of pining and desperate longing.

Summary
Lapis Lazuli was captured, beaten, abused, kept locked away behind a mirror for at least a year. Peridot, a young intern at the hospital, volunteers to take her in. Once she get pasts Lapis' wall, she finds herself the one person this young woman trusts and can open up to with everything she experienced.
Chapter 20 is the one with most of the triggering stuff, because it's when rape is described somewhat explicitly. Please skip it if you don't think you can handle it.

Summary

Feeling too much all the time or feeling nothing at all may not be a healthy way to survive, but it's the only way they know how.

Summary
Peridot Castillo just wanted a job where she could learn how to be a semi-decent bartender, and the Crystal Temple Burlesque Club appeared to be just the place. It wasn't until she laid eyes on an unassuming blue-haired burlesque dancer that she realized the Crystal Temple Burlesque Club might be more than it seems.
Roughly based on the movie "Burlesque" starring Cher and Christina Aguilera. Other ships/tags to be added as they develop.
