“So how was your day, my Prince? Was it as busy as mine?” After giving Happy the fish, she sat on the edge of her bed, looking out at the window view.
Hearing Lucy refer to him as “my” twisted something in his heart. What he disliked was the “Prince” part.
“When are you going to stop calling me that?” He quizzed, walking closer into the room and sitting in her vanity chair.
“When you’re no longer a prince. Then, I’ll call you Your Majesty.” Her eyebrows furrowed in self-amusement.
Whenever he looked at her, there were stars in his eyes, he knew how beautiful she was and couldn’t stop staring at her. He looked away a bit embarrassed at his own thoughts, trying not to let on what he was thinking.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and they both froze. Lucy’s eyes widened and she panicked.
“Who is it?”
“It’s Lisanna, I wanted to talk to you.” Lucy stands up from her bed frantically. Looking around her room for something, anything, to get her out of this.
“You have to leave! Out the window, quickly!” she whispers.
