Well, she's not wrong on either point, though the statement of plainly evident facts doesn't stop a tear from welling in your eye. Dear old dad never did quite get the chance to thank you for your hard work bringing about his dream, but you know. You didn't do it for the praise, though that would have been nice. You did it for him. And for all of them.
