He clocked her two songs in. Center pit, second row. Light up bracelet on her right arm, dancing out a whole choreography to Lachryma, headbanging with the solo, having the time of her life.
His mouth quirked into a small smile between lines. He did appreciate when barricade stared at him in awe, but spotting someone going wild in the audience was always a treat.
That's what it was all about. Sensing the same energy radiating from others that wired through him while performing. It was better than drugs. He knew he could get addicted to it. -

She peeked at the monitors expecting her colleagues to be in the exact same positions. But no. There were two other people hovering in the lobby. Dressed in all black. Faces covered. They headed to the door.

Why was it that trouble always wandered in within a half hour of closing time? Were they about to get robbed? It had to be a fucking joke. But then she halted. What if they were really getting robbed? Then she should probably stay hidden and call the cops. She looked at the monitors again. The two people dressed in black were already inside. She groaned. And then a weird silver glint caught her eyes. It was almost like… But it couldn’t be… Could it? She bolted out of the lunchroom.
