“What the fuck are you talking about?” Kate could see how her question only added fuel to the fire by the “are you fucking kidding me” look Lucy just gave her, but she couldn’t help herself. What the hell was happening?
“Alright.” Lucy stared at her, looking like she was searching for something in Kate’s eyes but didn’t find anything. She stood up, “I mean, it’s none of my business with whom you spend your time with. Just hadn’t thought that you’re into girls who smoke.” She threw a small box in Whistler’s lap.
Kate froze. Fuck.
