“You better not be a fucking buzzkill. I’m not trying to spend my last month alive moping around. I’ve got a fuck ton of wine bottles I haven’t gotten around to popping open, more money than I know what to do with and a full tank of gas.”
Dazai grins. He collects the wine bottle settled on Chuuya’s coffee table and pours himself a glass before standing beside Chuuya, both of them looking out over the city. Dazai isn’t the biggest fan of wine, not usually. However, as the bitter, rich flavor rolls over his tongue, he thinks it actually tastes lovely.

Chuuya’s body can no longer continue harnessing Arahabaki. Honestly, he thinks he’s handling this whole dying thing pretty well, even if it means Dazai has to be by his side to ensure all of Yokohama doesn’t go down with him.
Chuuya intends to spend his final days living lavishly, inadvertently spoiling Dazai in the process. Meanwhile, a revelation has been slowly creeping up on Dazai.
