    Independently Fred and Harry have realized that Hermione is the witch for them and had decided Yule was the perfect season to let their affections be known. A fact that they realize too late for either of them to be willing to step down. Of course both respect each other too much to let things get nasty so they decide to have a friendly competition to win her affections. Agreeing that they will have until Boxing Day and will be happy for whomever it is that she chooses.
