Summary
Obsidia has the infamous reputation of being the most prolific killer out of all the victors in the Hunger Games. As the tribute from District One, she's a career who has spent her childhood training to be a killer. After she won the 60th Hunger Games by killing ten tributes, she earned the loathing of everyone from the Districts besides 1 and 2.
One year in the Capitol, Obsidia meets Haymitch Abernathy, the sole victor from District Twelve and a surly drunk who cares little for her reputation. Despite being as different as can be, an affluent and arrogant victor from the wealthy District 1 and a bitter and unfriendly victor from the poor District 12, the two fall in love and begin an affair that lasts for several years.
Only mistakes are made and the result ends up with Obsidia pregnant and President Snow marking her daughter as a threat. When her name is reaped in the 75th Hunger Games, she knows that the only hope of survival for her and her daughter is to join the rebellion
