Summary
It’s basically just the really simple concept of Jesse dying and Reuben living but Petra is really depressed and decides to kill Ivor- I reserve the right to completely rewrite this because it’s probably not going to be very good lol, first multi chapter fic, this will also end up being dead dove in later chapters so keep that in mind if you’re going to read it- also I don’t recommend reading this if u haven’t played Mcsm episode 4 “A Block and a Hard Place” ur gonna be confused as hell lol

Tide turn, days pass, and people drift apart, sure, it’s normal, but it’s something that Petra wasn’t prepared for it. Sometimes she wished that they were still trapped in that portal hall, because at least they were together. Now, she was lucky to get a greeting from any of her friends. It hurt the most that Jesse barely acknowledged her anymore, since they lived in the same town. The feelings that once felt like a warmth in her chest now burn painfully like a raging fire, and the only thing she knows how to do is run, because life is just a race.
