Summary
Yoongi has been attracted to Jimin since the first time he laid eyes on him as a trainee. Confused about his own sexuality and Jimin’s, he refrained from pursuing his feelings for many years. Over time, they both become aware of their mutual attraction. However, for BTS to remain united, they must agree not to couple up.
This leaves Jimin vulnerable to a dangerous relationship that goes wrong. Namjoon and Tae will keep Jimin’s secret, which eats away at him over time.
Meanwhile, Yoongi does not expect BTS to last longer than most K-pop boy groups' typical 5 to 7 years. He prepares for their time together. As BTS gains more fame, his dreams of a relationship with Jimin begin to fade.
This tension comes to a head when Jimin gets drunk at Hobi’s listening party. Tipsy Jimin seeks out Yoongi to ask why he did not attend.

The lingering touches during rehearsals, the way Jungkook's eyes would find his across crowded room, the way he would stick close to him no matter where they were, those late-night conversations that felt like they were dancing around something more. All those moments he'd collected like precious stones, building a castle of maybes and what-ifs.
"Hyung, I need to tell you something."
They were at the beach after they have performed their last concert – Taehyung had planned to confess here himself, actually. He wanted to make his Jungkookie feel at home like the younger one was his. He wanted the moon to witness the start of something special. The ocean breeze carried the salt of future tears he didn't know he'd shed.
"I think I have feelings for Jimin-hyung."
Seven words. That's all it took to tear down years of careful hope. Taehyung could feel his smile freezing as the wall starts suddenly acting up, he had learned to hide earthquakes behind gentle curves of lips with the help of the wall.
