Summary
Moments alone have been few and far between since they moved back to Hawkins.
Between Hopper’s injuries, the kids and work, there seemed to be no time left in the day for each other, something they’re both adamant to remedy as soon as possible.

Summary
"He knew how to do this once. He knew the ins and outs of the dance, knew what to say and how to act. But years of relentless pain had taken that away from him, scrubbed him down until he was hollow. Now he just feels wrong-footed, and alien, a human being who doesn’t quite think he deserves happiness."

Summary
ST3 finale onwards. Hopper lives! Basically, smut though – well quite a lot of talking too. And then smut. Cause I needed a serious Jopper fix in this lockdown. I hope this offers a little scratch to other Jopper itches out there.
He’s lying on his back with one arm wrapped around Joyce who’s sprawled across him, head tucked just under his chin and a hand flat against his chest. He doesn’t recall the moment they moved together like this, perhaps it all happened in their sleep, but he’s not going to question it. He’s been dreaming of this for years, decades even.

Summary
It was becoming increasingly ridiculous that whatever the situation, whatever the emotion, it always seemed to lead them here – to him pressing her against the nearest flat surface and kissing her like his life depended on it, (he was beginning to think that it did), and then pretending it never happened and starting all over again. Post 2x09 Joyce/Hopper angsty fluff.

"Tighter…" She whispered breathlessly as the metal enclosed around her wrist. "Hop, tighter…" She told him again when he hadn't responded straight away. He chuckled to himself as he obliged. Joyce/Hopper - starts out sexy, then gets angsty and finishes with pure fluff.

Summary
But he was old, weary and gruff, and not only she deserved better, but she had her own shit to deal with, for him to come up one day and drop the you’re the whole fucking world and I feel like the sun wouldn’t shine if you weren’t here, ever bomb on her head. It wasn’t fair. She was a single mother with two kids and a job that clearly didn’t pay enough.
So he drank his beer, quieted his mind, went to bed early to wake up before the sun was up. He made El waffles and paid his bills and went to work, trying to enjoy what he already had and push back this aching longing for what he didn’t.
He had his love, once upon a time. And now it was gone.
End of story.

Summary
“What the hell?” Joyce whispered, equally confused, stunned, and joyous.
Daylight had begun seeping in around the edges of the sky, painting the darkness purple and red, and through those colors Joyce saw her driveway had been shoveled in its entirety. A path had been meticulously cleared for the cars to back out, piles of snow evenly spaced where gravel met grass. Windshields had been scraped clean of whatever ice and snow had covered them in the night. It was as though she’d somehow sleepwalked her way through that dreadful winter morning routine, though she knew that hadn’t been the case.
But who else would've done it?
