    Multi had learned that nothing good ever came from letting people get too close.
    It always started soft and full of promises, only to be set ablaze, burning into his skin and leaving behind something that could never quite heal. So he kept his distance, buried himself in work and chased the idea of the god he saw in the mirror, telling himself he was safe like this.

    Quackity doesn’t seem to understand that.
    Or maybe he does, and decides it isn't enough to make him leave.
