A stranger named Montresor—sharp-tongued and reckless—fights off ghostly orbs whispering for them to stay. Drawn together by circumstance and a growing unease, they flee toward the only sign of civilization: a towering, gothic academy that seems both welcoming and hungry.
Trapped within the walls of Nevermore Academy, Rebecca and Montresor must unravel its secrets before they, too, become whispers in the mist. Because here, the past does not die—it lingers, it beckons, and it never lets go.
