   Summary

   Torn between protecting Greta from afar and having her by his side, Brahms is forced to make a decision when they are snowed in… along with Malcolm.

   Pain and indecision split him in half. His heart was a poor, wilted clump of muscle — collateral damage in her whimsical decisions.  And his ignorance. 

   How ironic he’d painted her as the naive one, but who was standing there with their heart broken? Maybe his parents were right — someone like him didn’t deserve love, to be loved. Instead, he was destined to always watch… to observe from the sidelines. 

   It was a curse he’d wish on no one.
