Summary
Abby is about to kill Joel but Ellie says one word that makes Abby stop in her tracks. The events that follow will show both Ellie and Abby that the past isn’t what decides the future. As the members of Abby's group endure the repercussions of their crimes Abby’s group forms a connection with the people of Jackson.

Summary
After leaving Santa Barbara behind her, on her way home Ellie takes shelter during a thunderstorm. What happens next is something she never expected, she is flung back through time into the 1890s and winds up in a snowstorm. Taking shelter she runs into a gang of Outlaws. Now she must learn to survive and adapt to this new world, a world without the Infected but just as dangerous and unpredictable.
