   Summary

   Sonic gets a little too obsessed with Shadow, and his friends KNOW something is off.

   "He, He's the one. I'm gonna take him all for me.."

   "Stay away from me!" Shadow snapped, his voice trembling with revulsion.

   Sonic’s smile faltered for a moment, replaced by a look of hurt confusion. "But… I did it for you. Don't you see? I wanted to prove my love! I needed you to see how much I care…"

   “Love? This is not love, this is obsession. I’m not going to live the rest of my life fearing for mine!” Shadow yelled, backing away.

   He turned and ran, his heart hammering in his chest. The stench of blood and death, the sight of that crimson shrine, the horrifying realization of what Sonic had become – it all threatened to overwhelm him.
