Summary
He has no problem remembering the many years when going on a longer assignment would have been the same to him as dismantling a single necromancer’s den. When he had nothing to tie him to time frames, he would have had no reason to wish to be on short bouts rather than chasing down whole cults of chanting mortals in hoods. It was easy to get absorbed in his duty to the exclusion of all else. But he has Taako now, and as much as he enjoys Barry and Lup’s company, he’s ready to be with his beloved in their house.
Taako makes dinner. Kravitz doesn’t finish it.

Summary
It’s their sixth date, maybe seventh if you include Chug ‘n’ Squeeze. So, at this point, he can sense when the evening is drawing to a close. He knew what would happen now. Taako would untangle his arm and blithely make his excuses and ask to be taken home any second now and Kravitz would go to his apartment and think about what he should have said differently.
Taako pours two glasses of Malbec. Kravitz takes a look around the Reclaimers’ apartment.

Summary
Kravitz had gotten quite good at mortal time since he started seeing Taako regularly. Having dates planned really made him pay attention to days of the week and time of day in a way that seemed beyond insignificant before. So, he’s fairly certain Taako is late.
Kravitz contemplates mortality. Taako takes a nap.

If Sarah or Shannon or whatever her name was got more Vitamin C or something, the date would have been fine. Actually, this was Creesh’s fucking fault for suggesting the idea in the first place.
The evening at Sips and Strokes doesn't go to plan and panic ensues. Taako makes chicken piccata. Kravitz tries his hand at a new art. Lucretia tries to maintain balance.

Summary
Bitty comes out to Johnson in the Haus kitchen after baking four pies in a row. Bitty bakes when he’s nervous, but he also bakes when he’s happy, when he’s tired, when he’s irritated, and when it’s Tuesday, so it’s hard to draw conclusions. Unless you peeked ahead to the last panel first to check for cliffhangers, but Johnson would never do that.
