Angel looked him over more carefully, wondering what could have happened in the last few hours between Alastor showing up after the battle and him lying unconscious on the ground. His immaculate suit seemed darker around his chest, soaked. Angel touched the material, conscious of the demon’s sharp teeth so close to his hand. His gloved fingers came back wet with blood.
