Summary
Cyrene throws herself back to Amphoreus, prepared to sacrifice it all for the ones that she loves once more. However, through what she can only deduce is likely divine intervention, she awakens on an unknown part of the universe with nothing- Oh, it's Phainon!
Nothing with her but Phainon, who decides that suffering 33,550,336 times is enough and 'retires', dragging Cyrene along with him.
Now, it's not all bad here in 'Japan'! The citizens may look at them funny for any at all use of their abilities. A depressing energy surges around the civilization, covering some objects and manifesting these strange creatures running around that no one actually sees except for the few eccentric characters that can see them and stop them.
But at least, for the first time in their lives, they are alive and free.
(Cyrene and Phainon gets lost in JJK and turns it into a slice of life anime)

The year is 1999, the last year before the Kanto Regional Pokémon League expands into an inter-regional championship, and Bill's plan for a standard rollout of his new Pokémon is thrown for a loop when he's told, not only that it might have a genuine niche in the current format, but that this might be the last year it'll ever see use.
