If anything, he should be used to it: Frank is loud when it comes to provoking people, and he tends to say all sorts of things without thinking about the consequences. Gerard likes this about him. He wishes he could be as vocal as Frank, wishes he didn't have to choose his words. But there is a limit to everything, and inevitably Frank crosses it."
