   Summary

   “If I lose my way, will I know where to find you?”

   Lucy Everlin Diggory has many fears. Large bodies of water. Doing poorly in school. The full moon. Losing control.

   “If you lose your way, you will know where to find me.”

   In spite of her fears, hope persists. Love persists.

   “In the dark of the night, follow the light.”

   Even though loss clings to her like a shadow, she bravely presses onward in search of light and love in their many forms.

   “Come back home.”

   Where is home? What is home? Who is home? How does someone find home? These questions and more define the journey of Lucy Everlin Diggory, the girl who never once loses hope.
