“I found it while i was walking around the forest searching for pheasants.” the other replied, in his hands revealed a circular golden orb.
“Wait, are you two plain idiots?! Don’t touch it!” Jiang Cheng exclaimed loudly, but it was already too late as Nie Huaisang has already pulled the stunt.
“I wonder what it does though—“ Nie Huaisang laughed, when Wei Wuxian touched the orb, the trio blacked out strangely.
As soon as they woke up, they surprisingly found themselves somewhere else that which they could not recognize as the Cloud Recesses, but instead a strange room is what was recognized… along with 12 other people.

Para isso, ele tem que descobrir porque Nie MIngjue rejeitou sua primeira opção de segundo esposo, e o que o fez correr para arranjar outro casamento. No caminho, Jiang Cheng acaba pisando em alguns calos e descobrindo que tudo o que sabe é apenas uma mísera parte de um grande plano dentro da nobreza para retirar o rei do trono.

Summary
Xichen is the owner of a kindergarten - How he got that job? A long story.
Everything is as you’d expect. Everything is normal… Well, outside of that one child that, now and again, comes in: dressed in nothing but dog themed clothing.. accompanied by a dog plushie that will likely remain taller than him for a few more years.
That toddler is Jin Ling and, one day, as said toddler was missing from his kindergarten, Xichen stumbles across him in a small supermarket after work.
A moment later a rough, angry voice yells out to him: It’s Mr. X. The “handsome young man” that Xichens coworkers always refer to like that: Jiang Cheng.
The fateful, long overdue first meeting - that promptly spirals into a wild ride full of unexpected twists and turns that neither of them expected - begins to unravel.
