Summary
Salt Middle School has three weeks to prepare for a visit from American teen pop sensation Kane Arianell. Ritsu Kageyama and the Student Council are in over their heads, the student body are figuring out their confessions for the unprecedented formal dance that’s being planned, and the Telepathy Club couldn’t care less that any of this is happening. Shigeo Kageyama has his own share of things to think about too: a mysterious letter left in his shoe locker, an uptick in exorcisms, and learning a new skill with Dimple’s able assistance.

All the other students shuffle into the rows and give the two adults brief greetings. Ritsu politely greets Serizawa and pointedly ignores the worst person on the planet.
Still, as he sits down next to Shou, he can’t help but notice the tiniest of trembles in Reigen’s fingers as he pulls out a camera. Upon closer inspection, he looks almost on the verge of a crisis. None of the others notice—whether it’s because they’re dumb as rocks or Reigen is good at hiding his emotions, he’s not sure.
