Lena furrows her eyebrows. “Please, not this again. We are friends. As if exes can’t be friends,” she says wistfully.
(it's silly to think they wouldn't stay friends after the break-up. after all, lena's now part of kara's inner circle of friends. it's the "stay friends" part that's a little elusive to her.)
