    This is good, though, an opportunity to treat this with a modicum of professionalism – it’s just a quirk; they’ve helped each other through varying degrees of effects over the years. This doesn’t have to be any different. They’ll just do what needs to be done to get through it.

He glanced over at Shouta, trying to gauge his reaction. It was selfish, but Hizashi hoped, just a little, that knowing somebody was interested in him would make Shouta see him in a different light.

    “Wow,” Shouta repeated, looking decidedly un-wowed.
