A proper homecoming, a precious hour and a half before they needed to step on stage for the final act, and more than enough of a fool's notion of sentimentality. Herlock Sholmes was set to enjoy what little time he had with his partner before the grand finale of their ten year dance.
It was a shame, then, that he had to ruin it.
(Or...I wish the game let us see them address the implications of what happened on the Grouse)

It is not, of course, and Gregson is left with some unpleasant revelations concerning the exact nature of the relationships between the Japanese foreign exchange students and certain members of the British judiciary system.(Or the one where Gregson realizes everyone is actually in love.)
