Summary
Physical contact became a near constant. Luz barely even noticed it anymore when Amity would wrap an arm around her waist while she was doing the dishes and press a kiss to her cheek, or when Gus would tuck himself against her side as they watched TV, or when Willow would play with her hair while she tried to find a way to get them home, or when Hunter would fidget with her hands as he rambled about sewing, or animals, or whatever else captivated his mind in the moment. Little signs to reassure each other that 'I'm here, we're together, we're safe.'
What she did start to notice, however, was the way Hunter would tense so hard he nearly flinched any time he was touched by more than someone's fingertips.
AKA Luz realizes Hunter is touch starved, and she's determined to change that.

Hunter didn’t know why this dress had him rooted in place in the middle of the men’s department, staring at it so intently as if he had never seen a dress before. Willow has worn dresses, Amity has worn dresses, even Luz has worn one once or twice. Hunter knows what a dress is. He has never wanted to wear a dress.
