Summary
Every so often, Luka’s world hiccoughs.
That isn’t exactly right, but there’s not an easy way to describe the sensation. If pressed, he might say it’s the same feeling as tripping in a dream and startling awake, or the way your heart skips when you miss a step coming down the stairs, but even those descriptions paled in comparison to reality. One moment, he’d hear the harmony of the world, an orchestra of the hearts around him, and the next, he knew that something had changed; that someone’s melody was a half-beat ahead of the rest of the world; that in that space between seconds, something monumental had occurred and he was not privy to it.
Luka unravels the strange sensation of the world missing a step, and Viperion takes up his mantle.

Summary
The Guardian nods and only Chat Noir can see her brilliant smile under the hood, which has now taken on the eggshell blue of the early morning. The first rays of daylight weave their way through her cloak and she pulls them into her hands. She twists them between her fingers, spinning them into five reams of golden fabric woven through with streaks of what tastes to Chat Noir like resolve.
With Pavona defeated, the Guardian unravels the curse on the Ladybug Miraculous.

Summary
Alix Kubdel had an… interesting relationship with time.
This could be attributed to growing up in a museum (ok, maybe this is an exaggeration, but only a slight one). And it’s true, some of her closest friends are suits of armor, statues of heroes, and paintings of deities. It’s a perfectly reasonable conclusion, one even Alix herself might buy.

"If the Peacock isn’t here, that means that there is someone in Paris running around with a broken Miraculous.” The air in the room begins to thicken, and magic rolls off Marinette in waves. "Adrien Agreste, a storm is brewing. Evil sits on the horizon, and an unknown threat bears down even now on your city. Will you once again take up the mantle of the Protector of Paris?”
Adrien stands straighter as well, and he feels magic swirling around him, wrapping him in a strong embrace. “I will.”
The Guardian smiles grimly. "Welcome back, Chat Noir."
With the Ladybug still mysteriously out of commission and the Peacock missing, Chat Noir and his team must once again step up to protect Paris.

Kagami stares down at the box, thoughts racing before she lands once more on the words Marinette had given her that afternoon: revel in your newfound freedom.
“I suppose I shall,” she whispers to herself, a smile breaking on her face.
Kagami comes face to face with the Guardian, and Ryuko takes to the skies.

Chat Noir nearly falls off the Eiffel Tower, spinning around to face the new voice. There, sitting in the crook of two beams, in his spot, is a figure who has wrapped herself in starlight. He can’t see her face, can’t seem to keep the sound of her voice in his head, can’t remember anything about the girl except that she is there, waiting for him, somewhere no civilian could reach.
"The Guardian, I presume? Chat Noir, a pleasure to meet you."
Chat Noir finally meets the mysterious Guardian his new teammates all talk about.

Chloé does leave her windows open that night. Not because Dupain-Cheng told her to, thank you very much, but because the suite was a little bit stuffy and, really, when was the last time she had aired out her bedroom?
So, with balcony doors ajar, Chloé sat down and began to do her work for the evening, and she isn’t quite aware of the cool breeze that blows in. She is, however, distinctly aware when that breeze stops. Glancing up, confused, she takes a step back in shock and fear when she sees that there’s a person on the balcony, holy shit.
The Guardian visits Chloé's balcony, and Queen Bee joins the fray.
