I've wanted to add this as a bookmark for so long, but kept on forgetting to do so. So now, I will give my thoughts on it here.
To say that I loved this fic to no end is a drastic understatement, I feel like if I were to list off every possible word in every language to best describe this fic, I would still end up disrespecting it's nature. And for a first fanfiction, that in itself is an achievement to be proud of.
This fanfiction (or I guess it's classed as an AU), no matter how well I knew the outcome on first read, still threw me for a loop at places I least expected. Despite everything being hinted in the chapter names, I still end up with my head in my hands wondering what the hell I just read.
Not only that, but I have also been introduced to many unused practices that I wouldn't have even thought to try out otherwise.
And this isn't just in the main story, but even the aftermath chapters as well. Let me tell you, if I had to count the litres of tears of joy and fear I felt in the 5 aftermath chapters, you could probably fill a swimming pool with it. My heart was thumping the entire time for these characters, especially in the finale (I won't say why, but expect to cry if you haven't read it).
I will never, ever, be able to say this enough to you. This is probably the best thing I've ever seen since base FPE, and it never gets old no matter how many times I reread it.

I'm gonna say it now, we need more fanfictions in FPE that use Miss Bloomie & Claire family interactions. The fact that there's only 2 fanfics other than my own using this tag upsets me to no end.
This is such a cute pairing and I'm hoping more people decide to break the mould of the media norm and write about this.
