Summary
NOTE: I was going to update this after the re-signings but I guess that dream is very far away now. In light of recent news I'm going to take a step back from writing this. Hopefully I do heal enough to finish it eventually but this is a lesson learned for me when it comes to writing. Maybe it's best to stick to the impossible and absurd. By writing about what actually is, I only make myself attached to something that may not last forever. I hope we can all grieve and heal together.
This had to be the peak of teenage stupidity, falling for a man over a decade older than him. Yet......just as the sun was warm even in the winter, Sanghyeok was a light in the dark even on Jihoon's worst days. That sort of warmth was a warmth worth waiting a lifetime for.
So, Jihoon would wait. He would wait for that sliver of a chance that, when he showed up at Sanghyeok's door years later, Sanghyeok could see him as more than just the troubled teenager he knew once upon a time.
