Ximena ignores the honorific, her eyes shining bright as she looks upon Jayce. Something hopeful and excited glimmers within, her expression so happy that she appears a decade younger.
“As soon as you are to marry, Jayce.”
Jayce blinks, the words some of the last he was ever expecting to hear. His mind screams as his entire life comes to a sudden, frightening halt.
“Marry?”
Queen Ximena and Jayce discuss her decision to step down from the throne, and she proposes that Jayce marries when he is crowned King of Piltover.
