He just finished eating when the call comes. It’s passed 10 pm and the last three days have been punishing. His body hurts, his muscles are tight and the only thing that makes him dream is his bed. He’s about to go to bed, hesitating on the necessity of a shower, when he hears his phone ringing.
It takes him a few seconds before the connections happen in his brain, and he understands.

Il vient de finir de manger quand l’appel arrive. Il est 22h passé et les trois derniers jours ont été éprouvants. Son corps lui fait mal, ses muscles sont tendus et la seule chose qui le fait rêver, c’est son lit. Il s’apprête à monter se coucher, hésitant toujours sur la nécessité d’une douche, quand il entend la sonnerie de son téléphone.
Il lui faut quelques secondes pour que les connections se fassent dans son cerveau et qu’il percute.
